The SOAR 2026 Fly-in, is a Celebration of Aviation in Sarnia - Lambton.

In Memory of Roger and Eleanor Hadfield, will be taking place on Friday, August 7th & Saturday, August 8th at CYZR Sarnia - Chris Hadfield Airport from 8:30am til 3pm.

The FLY-IN event showcases our local airport and all donations will go to the Pathways Health Centre for Children. The event is free to attend for everyone. We will have local food vendors and bouncy castles for kids of all ages, as well as shuttles on the grounds for parking transportation. Featuring the Canadian Aviation Museum with rides available to purchase in their Harvard and Chipmunk aircraft. Also featuring the Timmermans Legends of Aviation WW2 P51 Mustang and their Spitfire MKXVII as well as Rumbling Radials Beech Expeditor and Stearman.

There will be new, state of the art aircraft alongside historic and vintage aircraft. Vans Aircraft will be our featured make.Weather permitting, aircraft will be arriving from across Ontario and Michigan. When they are all safely parked, the public will be able to walk around them and meet their owners.Under the wing camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights for aircraft owners that fly in to the event
