220 Participants expected.13th Annual Regatta. Laser Gold Cup Event. The event takes place at the Sarnia Yacht Club, Lake Huron. The Sarnia Yacht Club has annually held Sailest since 2000. The dinghy sailing regatta is a Laser Gold Cup and Ontario Sailing Championship Series event. It is held off the shores of Canatara in Lake Huron. Roughly 200 sailors and coaches from the Great Lakes region participate along with 100 volunteers who make the experience exceptional! Primarily a youth event it is sponsored by General Mills (The Cheerios Regatta), Spectrum Communications, RBC Dominion Securities, Harken, Sunripe, Nestle Water, Natrel, Tim Hortons, MORC Stn 26 and many more! Come watch from the beach or from your boat. Or better yet, come race! |
