Lynn Stewart
Lynn Stewart has pursued a full time career as an artist, designing and producing her own line of pottery. She creates one of a kind objects and has developed a distinctive original line of fully functional pieces. Lynn sells her work in galleries and craft shops throughout Ontario, where there is an ever-growing demand for her work. Lynn's distinctive combination of subtle textures and colouring enhance her beautiful hand thrown forms. Living in rural Ontario, Lynn has been influenced by the natural vegetation of the area and in particular grape vines. She has incorporated this motif into her pottery in such a way that it is not merely decoration but becomes an integral part of the form's composition. Her work is found in private collections throughout North America, Europe, South America and Australia.
