Located in the eastern region of Lambton County, Warwick Township is a small area with a lot of heart. Most of the population resides in the rural community of Watford. The residents of Warwick Township take pride in the various service clubs and local organizations that coordinate events and activities throughout the community.

In 2012, the Watford Corn Festival celebrated its 30th anniversary. Hot, buttered corn has been served at this festival for just $0.25 a cob for 30 years. A ball tournament, carnival rides, bands, and horseshoes are also featured during the weekend-long event.

In March, visitors can taste the sweet stuff, at the Watford Rotary/Firemen Maple Syrup Festival at the Watford Fire Hall; visitors can also enjoy the athletic prowess of local figure skaters during the Watford Skating Club Carnival. In May, Mothers can be treated to a Mother’s Day Brunch by the Watford Rotary at Centennial Hall. An active Horticulture Society brings life to the community during all seasons and hosts annual plant sales in May and June.

Visitors should also venture out to Watford’s fire hall to view three beautiful new murals. Depicted are the Max Mobile, Watford’s veterans, and to the fire hall itself.
